Dear Friends,
In just one short week, District 3 voters will go to the polls to choose their next city council person. I cannot thank you enough for your support throughout this campaign. I am writing today to ask you to help our campaign as a volunteer in these crucial final days of the election.
We need volunteers on Election Day - Tuesday, April 1. Our volunteers will fill a variety of roles - including poll greeters, runners, providing rides to the polls, and more.
If you are available to volunteer on Election Day, please email your availability and
contact information to info@belindagergel.com. If possible, we would like our volunteers to work at least a morning shift (7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.) or an afternoon shift (1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.). Some volunteers have generously offered to work all day. Once we receive your email, we will be in touch with you about where and when to report on Election Day.
If you plan to volunteer, I strongly encourage you to vote absentee. As an Election Day volunteer, you meet the criteria for early voting and you can go now to the Richland County Voter Registration Office in the County Building (corner of Hampton and Harden streets) to vote early in the upcoming District 3 City Council election. The Voter Registration Office is on the Harden Street side of the county building and is open from 8:30-5:30, Monday through Friday.
Again, I cannot thank you enough for your continued support of my candidacy. Together, we are going to transform Columbia into the 21st century city we know it can be!
