Swearing-In Ceremony Planned for City Council Members
June 30, 2008
The Swearing-In Ceremony for returning and new City Council members will be held on June 30, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. at City Hall (1737 Main Street). Elections were held in April 2008 and the term of service begins July 1, 2008.The following individuals will be sworn in on June 30th:
- E.W. Cromartie, II, Councilman for District I (re-elected for another term)
- Daniel J. Rickenmann, Councilman, At-Large (re-elected for another term)
- Dr. Belinda Gergel, Councilwoman-Elect, is representing District III and will be replacing Councilwoman Anne Sinclair. Councilwoman Sinclair is retiring effective June 30, 2008.
